This is BEAUTIFUL and so worth the wait. The glass is mostly opaque and doesn't seem to cast a colorful shadow like some stained glass might. It was remarkably well packaged and protected from any potential shipping damage. It's certainly fragile, but I have no doubt it will last a lifetime as it's very well made. I was skeptical that fine sand would be enough to hold it as the seller suggests, but it does work well as this piece is quite light.
